Անգլերենին վերաբերող գիտելիքների ու հմտությունների ստուգման բոլոր հարցաշարերում իրենց կայուն տեղն են զբաղեցնում պայմանական նախադասությունների երեք տիպերը: Սիրելի սովորող, հարկ է, որ դու կարողանաս գործածել այդպիսի նախադասությունները քո գրավոր և բանավոր խոսքում: Հուսով եմ, որ այս դասը արդյունավետ օգնություն կլինի քեզ համար, քանի որ այն հիմնված է օտար լեզվի յուրացման հաղորդակցական սկզբունքի վրա: Հնարավոր է, որ մի անգամ էլ բացատրած լինեմ այս թեման: Ոչինչ, կրկնեք և ամրապնդեք ձեր իմացածը: Շատ կարևոր թեմա է:
The first type of conditional sentences
Պայմանական նախադասությունների առաջին տիպը
Անգլերենի գլխավոր նախադասությունը ապառնի ժամանակում է, իսկ երկրորդականը` ներկա: Պայմանն իրական է:
If I see Tom, I will invite him to my birthday party. Եթե ես տեսնեմ Թոմին, կհրավիրեմ նրան իմ ծննդյան օրվա հավաքույթին:
If the weather is fine, we will go to the country for the week-end.
Եթե եղանակը լավը լինի, մենք կգնանք քաղաքից դուրս շաբաթվա վերջին:
The second type of conditional sentences
Պայմանական նախադասությունների երկրորդ տիպը
Պայմանն իրական չէ: Անգլերենի գլխավոր նախադասությունը անցյալի ապառնի ժամանակաձևում է, իսկ պայմանի երկրորդականը` անցյալ: Հարկ է նշել, որ to be բայը were ձևում է բոլոր դեմքերի եզակի և հոգնակի թվերի համար: Հետաքրքիրն այն է, որ այս տիպի պայմանական նախադասություններում անցյալ ժամանակի հետ կարող են գործածվել ներկա և ապառնի ժամանակային պարագաներ: Այս կետում այն նմանվում է հայերենի ըղձական եղանակին:
If he were here now, he would help us willingly. Եթե նա այստեղ լիներ հիմա, ապա սիրով կօգներ մեզ:
If you came to our party tomorrow, you would enjoy yourself greatly. Եթե գայիր մեր հավաքույթին վաղը, մեծ բավականություն կստանայիր:
The third type of conditional sentences
Երրորդ տիպի պայմանական նախադասություններ
Պայմանը իրական չէ: Անգլերենի գլխավոր նախադասությունը «ապառնի վաղակատար անցյալում – Future perfect in the past» ժամանակաձևում է, իսկ երկրորդականը` անցյալ վաղակատար – Past perfect:
If he had been here yesterday, he would have helped us willingly. Եթե նա այստեղ եղած լիներ երեկ, հոժարակամ օգնած կլիներ մեզ:
If you had come to our party last week, you would have enjoyed yourself greatly. Եթե դու եկած լինեիր մեր հավաքույթին անցյալ շաբաթ, մեծ բավականություն ստացած կլինեիր:

Կառչում ենք զրուցակցի ասած առաջին նախադասությունից և հյուսում նախադասությունների փոխկապակցված մի երկար շղթա երկխոսության ձևով:
Օրինակ`
-Please lend me 300 drams.
– What will you do if I lend you 300 drams?
– If you lend me 300 drams, I will buy a lottery ticket.
– What will you do if you buy a lottery ticket?
– If I buy a lottery ticket, I will win one million drams with it.
– What will you do, if you win one million drams?
-If I win one million drams, I will buy a computer with all its accessories (a printer, a scan, a projector with its board, a digital camera)
– What will you do if you buy all these?
-If I buy all these, I will be the happiest 15-year-old boy in our district.

Երկրորդ տիպ
1.Եկեք արտահայտենք մի քանի անիրական ցանկություններ.
What would you wish if you had a time travel machine?
if i had a time machine, i would go back in time to change something in my life.
What would you ask Hovhannes Tumanyan, if you met him?
If I met Hovhannes Tumanyan, I would ask him how he imagined the future of Armenians.
What would you do if you were President of Armenia?
If I were the President of Armenia, then I would prefer not to be the President of Armenia.
2. Ինչ խորհուրդ կտայիր քո ընկերոջը, եթե նա ասեր`
I am always losing things. (Սկսեք այսպես՝ If I were you …Եթե ես քո տեղը լինեի…)
If I were you, I would drink water with honey in the morning.
I am in love with her but she takes no notice of me.
If I were you I would forget her.
I think I will fail my exam in History.
If I were you, I would be more confident.
Երրորդ տիպ
Եկեք հետադարձ հայացք գցենք մեր անցյալին և ասենք. «Այ, եթե ես այդպես արած լինեի, այդ հնարավորությունը կորցրած չէի լինի»: “If I had done that, I wouldn’t have lost that chance.” Կամ՝ «Եթե ավելի լավ պատրաստված լինեիր քննությանը, գերազանց գնահատական ստացած կլինեիր – If you had prepared for your exam better, you would have got an excellent mark»:
Լրացրեք առաջին մասերը.
If I hadn’t quitted the guitar lessons I would have become a musician.
If she had prepared much better she would have entered the university.
If you had married a person you loved, you would have lived a happier life.
If you had listened to your heart you would have achieved your aim.
Here is an English humorous story with the second type of conditional sentences.
Read this story, memorize it and try to retell it to your friends.
When this story was written, train tickets were classified for non-smokers and for smokers. The tickets for smokers were cheaper than the tickets for those who didn’t smoke.
Once a young woman got on a train and went into a compartment for smokers. There was a man there who was smoking. At that moment the woman began coughing and showing that she didn’t like the smoke. The man didn’t pay any attention and continued smoking his cigarette. The woman began coughing louder. The man continued smoking as if nothing had happened. The woman couldn’t stand the smoke any more and said: “If you were a real gentleman, you would stop smoking seeing a woman in the same compartment.” The man answered: “If you were a real lady, you wouldn’t get into a compartment for smokers.” The woman got angry and said: “If you were my husband, I would give you poison.” The man answered calmly: “If you were my wife, I would drink that poison with pleasure.”
