Tavush region
Tavush region is located in the northeastern part of Armenia. It borders Georgia to the north and Azerbaijan to the east. The climate of the region is mild and humid. Most of Tavush is covered with forests and wonderful natural monuments. The administrative center of the region is Ijjan, the other big cities are Dilijan, Berd, Noyemberyan և Ayrum. Ijan is surrounded by forested mountains. The city is famous for its handmade carpets, which are kept in the History Museum of Armenia. If you are a wine lover, you can find the largest assortment of Armenian wines here. Ijjan Wine and Brandy Factory is one of the leading factories in Armenia.

10:00 Dilijan
Dilijan is a spa town and urban municipal community in the Tavush Province of Armenia. The town is one of the most important resorts in Armenia, situated within the Dilijan National Park. The forested town is home to numerous Armenian artists, composers, and filmmakers and features some traditional Armenian architecture. The town is often referred to as the Armenian Switzerland or Little Switzerland by the locals.

Lake Parz is a small lake located in the Dilijan National Park east of Dilijan in Armenia. The lake was formed by natural climatic changes. «Parz» in Armenian means clear.
12:00 Haghartsin Monastery
Haghartsin is a 13th-century monastery located near the town of Dilijan in the Tavush Province of Armenia. It was built between the 10th and 13th centuries (in the 12th under Khachatur of Taron); much of it under the patronage of the Bagratuni Dynasty.
13:00 Goshavank monastery complex
Goshavank (meaning «Monastery of Gosh»; previously known as Nor Getik) is a 12th- or 13th-century Armenian monastery located in the village of Gosh in the Tavush Province of Armenia. The impressive monastery which has remained in relatively good condition also houses one of the world’s finest examples of a khachkar.
Makaravank is a 10th-13th century church complex near the Achajur village of Tavush Province, Armenia, located on the slope of Paitatap Mountain. Though the monastery is no longer used for services, the complex is well preserved. There are 4 churches, a gavit (narthex) that serves the two largest of the churches, and other buildings which served secondary roles. At one time, there used to be vast settlements around Makaravank, the presence of which was of great importance for the growth of the monastery.

Apakekar Mountain or the mountain known as Abeghakar is located in Tavush region, in Haghartsin, «between Hovk villages». The height is 1651 meters.
