I’m Mariam, I study at the College of Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex, Department of Tourism. In this article I’m going to present works that we have done during this semester. So let’s check it.
Firtst of all, in the beginning of this year we have done «Yerevan streets» project and everyone have presented their own projects. Everybody should chose some street from Yerevan and present with presentation.
Than we decided to translate the book about tourism «Amadeus» from english to armenian. We have got translating skills and new vocabulary.
Most interesting for me that we have done is the project «Films in English». We watch different films and than we wrote reflection papers. I think it’s the most beneficial thing to watch films in English. This project has helped our english capabilites increase.
We have also done a project about Yerevan «Yerevan and me», in witch everyone chose different topics, for example streets, the hiden places, popular places to take photos atc. In one word everything about our Yerevan city. This project is very useful, because when we have writen our topics, we have learnt about our Yerevan and others can also use our project.
And also miss Arpi offered an interesting project that we need to read poems and than analyze them. It’s helped us to know different poets and writing styles.
In the beginning of the second semester we have read interesting fairytale, that called «Theres’s no place like spase» for children 4-5th classes. It’s all about our solar system.
During the our english lessonswe also have learnt to write CV and motivation letter, which is improve our knowledge. I hope we’ll need this skills in future when we decide to apply for a new job.
I think this year is full of fascinating lessons and we have known more new things in english. Now you can suggest ideas our projects for about future english lessons.
