Speech about disappeared animals due to human fault

Animal species are disappearing, and we the people are the problem

People are the destroyer of all living things. Due to the constant deforestation and jungle, killing for the sake of fur, many animals were on the verge of extinction. These are unusual and unique creatures that could exist in peace if humanity lived in harmony with nature.

Many animals disappeared from the face of the earth relatively recently, and now they can only be seen in pictures, in a book or on the Internet. The reason for this is the greed of people and the inability to respect nature.

Most often, it is not a change in climatic conditions or other natural causes that is to blame for this, but a person. In addition, people are actively destroying ecosystems in which animals could live.

Now I will introduce some disappeared animals.

Quagga

The Quagga was a subspecies of the common plains zebra and a native of South Africa. Known for its unique stripes, the Quagga was hunted for its hide and killed by ranchers who believed the animals competed with livestock for grazing area. The last known Quagga died at the Amsterdam Zoo in 1883.

Tasmanian Tiger

They once existed across the Australian continent, but their habitat had been reduced to the island of Tasmania by the time European settlers arrived.
Thylacines were declared a protected species in 1936, the same year the last known specimen died.

Bubal Hartebeest

The Bubal hartebeest, or Bubal antelope was a subspecies of African antelope that lived in North Africa.
The animals were hunted to extinction and the last known Bubal hartebeest was killed in Algeria sometime between 1945 and 1954.

Moa

The herbivorous moa birds that lived in New Zealand did not have wings, could reach a height of 3.5 meters and weigh up to 250 kilograms. Moa became extinct in the 1500s.

Dodo bird

Dodo lived only on the island of Mauritius. The appearance of the dodo is not known for certain, because its image was restored only from images and written sources of the 17th century. The remains of the bird show that the Mauritian dodo was about 1 meter tall and could weigh up to 18 kilograms. With the advent of man on the island, the bird often became a victim of people and domestic animals. The last living dodo was seen in 1662.

Orange toad

This small toad, native to a limited area of Costa Rica’s rainforest, was first described in 1966, but has not been seen since 1989. The main reasons for the extinction are called deforestation and the epidemic of a fungal infection.

Unfortunately, these animals that I introduce to you, we can see them only and only in the pictures. And it’s sad that they no longer exist and will never exist again.
Many animals can still be saved, despite the fact that they are on the verge of extinction. Therefore, take care of nature, or after a while there will be no one left on earth. Everyone can make a small contribution: for example, stopping throwing garbage at their feet.
