We celebrate the New Year and Christmas. These days are long awaited by many people in the world. Nearly for everyone the 1st of January is the start of new life. That’s why this holiday is celebrated so cheerfully. After the New Year day we visit all our relatives and friends to exchange presents. To those, who live in other countries, we write postcards or letters with greetings.On the 6th of January we celebrate Christmas. My mother usually cooks fish, sweet rice with dried fruits. It’s our traditional meal for Christmas. I really enjoy celebrating New Year’s holiday and, to my mind, every person looks forward to celebrating it with their family. When I was a child I found the gifts under the Christmas tree and I thought that Santa Claus had brought them. Although I’m already adult and I don’t believe that Santa Claus exists, on New Year’s Eve I want to find myself in the dream and to believe in a miracle.
